I personally think that Imu was in love with Lily but could never get with her because she wasn't in love with him, when Imu was holding the picture of Vivi it was probably like he was seeing Lily.

My guess is that because Imu couldn't get Lily, he wants to go after Vivi now.

Also I'm pretty sure there is some connection between Lily and Amazon Lily, Lily was most likely the person that founded Amazon Lily.
