Honestly if that happened or as Seth said about them not arriving in time, I'll be so fucking mad. Given how goofy One Piece is, how extreme and especially post Gear 5 but even before with Enel going to the moon and little dudes taking balloons to the moon and balloons even holding up a fucking island in the sky, Luffy might just Gomu Gomu no literally Rocket them to the moon!
I do think its far more likely that they will not make it in time and the SHs will conveniently get away, so Oda doesnt have to stress about the SHs especially "Yonko Luffy" facing an Admiral right now unless he wants to get the Admirals and Marines out of the way now.
Completely agree, especially after how much Oda chickened out of the raid failing and never letting Onigashima fall, never letting the SHs be defeated/fail and always having them pull through even Zoro tanked hakai and then the whole pointless, random grim reaper storyline and such.
Also after how we've seen how competent and strong Sword have turned out to be surprisingly and imo at least some Vice Admirals are kinda underrated too, downplayed a bit much but thats my personal opinion ofc, it would be ABSOLUTELY TRASH writing if a ship fleet 10x the size of a Buster Call fleet I believe and a freaking 100 ships with an Admiral cannot pose a SEVERE if not unstoppable threat too!
Im reallt worried how Oda is gonna handle this. Oda seems to love these setups, where there can only be a shitty outcome for one party and the story too, Shanks vs Kidd and Green Bull vs the Alliance but being cockblocked by Shanks movie promotion wank too for example.
