I think people forget why alot of the big mom pirates bounties are relatively low and weird in general is because the simple fact alot of them stay in tottoland

Bounty in general is not a representation of your actual strength and danger level but what the world government knows about your strength and danger level. They obviously can only base your bounty based on information they have. Blackbeard being the most obvious example. With being a subordinate giving you an extra boost from your captain

The first example we get on their bounties not being 100% reflective of how strong they are is cracker. The world government doesn't even know what cracker actually looks like with his bounty only being a picture of his biscuit soldier.

Then we have an even clearer example of how even within the crew bounty doesn't actually represent their true strength. Both pekoms and tamago have higher bounties than daifuku and oven despite being weaker.

1. Pekoms 330 mil
2. Tamago 429 mil
3. Oven and daifuku 300 mil each

Why? because as combatants pekoms and tamago are sent out significantly more on outside missions in comparison. They were sent to Fishman island, dressrosa, and zou while most of big moms kids stay home.

Could also explain why snack was a sweet commander while having a lower bounty than perospero wasnt. Perospero on top of being older might just be sent on alot more outside missions. Tho honestly this one just depends who you think is stronger

Same with katakuri and how he seemingly doesn't leave tottoland much. That plus the fact even when he has like cracker to a certain extent he never showed his true face, self, or strength. Katakuri in general not only putting alot of mental barriers on himself but has never really gone all out

It's actually the opposite, the BMP, on screen, are far more active and causes more destructions across the islands than the Beast Pirates. The only Beast Pirates we see outside of Wano is Jack lol.
The only stationary BMP commanders were probably Cracker and Snacks, then Katakuri and Smoothie was summoned back to TOtlands for the Wedding.

Depends who you're talking about like combatants like tamago and pekoms yeah they're sent out alot while a majority of the other kids arent. Like just comparing their bounties to oven and daifuku says alot.

It was stated in the manga that most older BMP have administrative roles alongside their own children, they have to be called back because they were working in office jobs (and security) in other places. We even saw that even Totland was not directly lead by BM. BMP territories is one of the most consolidated that we saw.
Beast Pirates however have a incredible bad reputation and are show on screen to have a tendency to use WMD and they earned the nicknames of calamities. Queen didn't earn the nickname of plague just by staying in a lab, he was a top performer just like the other 2 (implying he was way more active). The shit thing is that the narrative in wano is shit and ignores the other territories that Kaido posses.

There's a reason why he has better feats and hype than Snack

BMP have a kingdom to run
33 Charlotte rule over islands as Princes/Princess,

Cracker, Perospero and Enraged army members + Tamhao & Pekoms go out a lot on expeditions and missions
While Katakuri, Smoothie and others stay in tottoland more (I think Katakuri is balanced)

There isn't any rival YC pushing katakuri to his limits anyway, they need to have top speed + top CoO which no YC has bar maybe Benn
No marine bar Admirals , Garp and Sengoku
In short, Katakuri never had to show his real power
Neither Cracker whom only a few could see his true self and power
