There's a novella focusing on Auri that you might be interested in.

I enjoyed the book, but not as much as Name of the Wind. Felt like it didn't cover quite as much ground as it should, but the writing was really engrossing.


Let me know how that is, I heard it's excellent.

.... I could not stomach Name of the Wind. Kvothe was just the biggest Mary Sue at the start...

One of the many reasons I’m not touching era 2. I thought the first trilogy was fantastic, I don’t need to see LordRuler level allomancers running around everywhere. Lol

Nah it ain't like that, overall Allomancers are weaker in Era 2 but their more "nieche", it is less about raw power and more about how you use it because power is so small
