Saint Shanks was mentioned to be from the Figarland family by the Gorosei in Film Red. They regarded them as very important. Pretty much implied Celestial Dragons at least. Saint Shanks has red serpent/dragon symbolism on his ship and one of his crewmates too...Red Dragons are the symbol of Wales too, I wonder...

I'm glad that Oda is finally doing what me and many others have hoped for a long time: Take some deserved time off and also create room for thinking about how to approach the story in the best way.

It's no coincidence that this last year has been the best OP year in ages - Oda took one month off last summer, too.

It works wonders.

He won't be doing much thinking if he's covered in PR obligations for the live action.

Also, last time he did take time off to think about how to properly approach the story, he then gave us Bonney fainting to bugs and screaming at Vegapunk while assposing. So not exactly the greatest track record.
