Tbh I liked that mixed blood stuff (Sword is me is one of the best flashbacks and payoffs in manga) significantly more than the random bullshit Kishimoto brought in regarding Kurama. How the nine tails magically had significantly more chakra than every other beast and Naruto was only ever using half of it at most. (And don’t even get me started on Asura and Indra)

I’m still guessing that Imu has the devil fruit that was created from the worlds collective fear of the sea devil that steals peoples abilities to swim.

We know there’s no actual devil in the fruits, but the rumor and myth likely created a devil fruit.
