I'm not entirely sure that he is.

He was an admiral, meaning he served directly under the celestial dragons. Furthermore, we know he was complicit in the Ohara genocide. Unlike Fujitora, he has shown no signs of opposing the CD's agenda in any ways. I mean just look how he reacted when WB stated that One Piece was real.


Dude was sweating buckets.


Honestly, I feel like he is a loyalist and will probably side with the CDs in the final war, with Garp ultimately being the one who defeats him.

Sengoku is the most extreme out of all Admirals shown so far, Sakazuki and Aramaki are saints in comparison
1. He was the one who ordered the Buster Call on Ohara

2. Follows orders without question

3. Had no issue with the genocide of pregnant women and children who lived in the last couple islands Roger visited

That said, he probably changed a lot of his views throughout the years

Lmfao Sengoku is the equivalent of those old men who spent their entire lives sinning, but when death is near start to become saints due to fear of going to hell.

Only "good" top tiers are Dragon & Fujitora, if your idea of "good" is standing against tyranny and being on the side of the "normal person" by going against those who hurt them, and not supporting criminals or oppressors in generals.

Luffy - Responsible for the escape of hundreds of mass murderers. Genocidal freaks like Crocodile who're not commiting crimes on an even higher scale than ever before. Was literally just buddy buddy with a mass murderer like Kid.
Shanks - Has meetings with the Gorosei, so yea.
Newgate - Was part of the Rocks
Garp - helped the CD
Sengoku - acted out the Gorosei's will

sengoku is a piece of shit. he organized mass infanticide and had ace executed for having been conceived by a persona non grata. when tsuru told him about a country where thousands are dying of starvation, he could only talk about the navy cafeteria offering new rice crackers (basically a 'let them eat cake' kinda moment).

he hired corazon to sabotage doflamingo even though as a warlord, doffy was a marine ally. conniving, underhanded, immoral piece of shit - that's what he is,

Sengoku allowed to schoolers getting killed same as Aokiji, killing the civilian ship was Akainu's work, so no genocide crime for Sengoku there.
