I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Akainu.
He gets the shit done. No time for games. I love that. He's ruthless and efficient. But I feel like sitting in the same few rooms for almost two years has gotten to his head now.

Sakazuki should have stayed as an Admiral roaming the seas of NW, not sitting on a desk. Smoker was supposed to have that role but he got also cucked.

Basically Oda wanted to keep characters like Sakazuki,Mihawk and many others for the finale but he spend so many chapters/years introducing random bozos such as Scabbards,SHGF etc etc when it was clear that the pre ts characters were the ones that people really care and wanted to see.

First of all Teach is a Yonko. Law isn't. The result couldn't be much different although it was also harder than it should.

Akainu can't afford sending a fleet worth Yonko to handle Teach.

If he got there Teach and Law could ended up joining forces against marines.

Teach has a fucking Admiral under his command.

And let's not forget all things Marines are into right now. Hunting Shichibukai. War against Egghead. Probably helping to handle all those nations doing revolution. He just don't have the army force right now to deal with Teach.
