I would never allow it. I have a reason too, even if some may think me 'outdated'. This is forced sexualisation, or actively encouraged sexualisation, and it would make me suspicious as to why the school is pushing for something like that. "Pimps & Hoes" have a negative connotation for a reason. There is a lot of exploitation involved. Why would I want my child to dress in a way which is designed to either denigrate them or have them lauding over others? That's sick. I'd be equally against it if they organized a fucking slave auction theme. It's just... wrong?

As to what I would do. I'd explain to my child my thoughts and why I think it'd be best to avoid it. Meanwhile I'd write a letter to the school trying to explain my point of view and how it could impact not only the self-esteem, but the self-perception of developing individuals.
