News One Piece Live Action Series!!
The worst part for me - as i was expecting - is the acting/corny lines. Luffy screaming Gum Gum Pistol is just cringe, which again was to be expected, because that is something nobody would do in real life. Anime adaptations are always gonna be corny, unless you change most of the dialogues to sound more ''realistic'' - but that would change the whole nature of the Anime.
Luffy saying to Zoro that they have to call their finisher moves names, while starring like a creep at him was probably the worst scene of the trailer lmao
The only Animes that should get adaptations are the ones that have a more ''realistic'' feel to them and One Piece is clearly not one of them.

The think is I don't personally give a F if it isnt 1:1 with the manga, like the eyebrows, named attacks or some of the goofy shi that doesn't work in LA series wouldn't be a issue for me if they weren't in this adaptations
BUT this just aint it fr, looks so cheap/half-assed thats the biggest issue

but dont fall for second-hand hype, being hyped because some famous names in one piece fandom are hyped
they prob won something that you wont
adaptations wont ever be 1:1 in any media
