I think this is a gross oversimplification of some people's concerns as a way to hand-wave it. Pedophillia is becoming a more common thing within the LGBT community. I've heard so many people 'sympathising' with MAPs it's unreal.
This does not mean all trans or gays are pedos. But I would say grooming by homosexuals and trans people tends to get less traction because of concerns of being 'discriminatory'.
