Bro marco who's fruit has healing properties needed a week to heal and he was balanced up and Marco's a mythical zoan. Luffy who is a mythical zoan based off of a diety needed a week or more to recover so the recovering niche to insult king is bullshit.

There is 0 indication that King's skin was pierced. All we see is greenbull entering his vines in an opened wound of a bandaged up king.

Marines are weak. The reason why they hire warlords is balance of power. Marineford could be easily invaded by yonkos if they don't have mihawk on their side. Their fight will be against sabo. Ace 2.0 vs akainu.

They never fought kaido lol, but admirals are indeed weaker than yonkos just like commanders are weaker than admirals

It's just standard procedure that if lower rank can't execute, the higher rank steps in. Kaido was captured and executed 8 times but they couldn't even scar him. So Move on Admirals are done.
