oh it’s not animated yet lol, but you can check out this thread for some “persuasion” :pepebusi:

https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/for...y-sharing-your-favorite-panel-spoilers.38623/
Ah yeah haha, I kept thinking it was getting an anime for some reason!

Are there spoilers in that thread? Major ones especially? Ive seen some panels from it and the tone is grimmer/darker than I expected, but Gintama also had entire arcs like that so it fits, especially with the concept this series also has, like Gintama too. Ye olde ex gangster/killer/assassin/whatever trying to have a normal life and settle down but the past keeps hauting them lol.

Sounds like a good series though to be fair! The Bullet Train movie had that concept and it was fantastic imo! Way better than I expected!

People of Gotham can finally breathe for a few days, while Joker is isekaied

but the people of this new world are fucked
Ahahaha! So fucking true too LMFAO! The other villains can finally celebrate not being overshadowed by the Joker for once LOL! What they don't realise is Joker is gonna get some anime power ups/power creep and come back to Gotham SUPER OP! One Punchline Man!

**Title: "One Punchline Man: The Joke's on You!"**

*(The scene starts with a sudden, inexplicable anime-style portal sucking the Joker and Harley Quinn into another dimension. They end up in a world filled with skyscrapers, aliens, and superheroes.)*

Joker: "Hoo boy, Harley! It looks like our brand of madness just went international!"

Harley: "Or interdimensional, puddin'!"

*(Harley soon discovers her new power which works similarly to La Brava's Love Lover Quirk from My Hero Academia. Her adoration for Joker amplifies his strength tremendously, making him the "One Punchline Man".)*

Joker: "Well, well, who knew all it took was a little extra love to make me so...powerful!"

*(They return to Gotham, wreaking havoc with Joker's newfound powers, and Batman is left bewildered at the new Joker.)*

Batman: "Alfred, what the devil happened to Joker and Harley?"

Alfred: "It appears, Master Wayne, that they've undergone what the anime fandom calls 'power creep'."

Batman: "Power creep, huh? Then it's time I leveled up too."

*(Montage of Batman training in typical anime style, meditating under waterfalls, climbing mountains, pushing his limits, and making dramatic speeches about friendship and justice.)*

Batman: "Money may be my superpower, but it's my bonds with others that truly make me strong. It's time for the power of friendship and money to shine!"

*(Epic final battle scene. Batman, using his wealth and gadgets, manages to hold his own against Joker, but it's the 'power of friendship' that turns the tide.)*

Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and even Catwoman join the fray, strengthening Batman's resolve.

Batman: "Gotham is more than just my city, Joker. It's a symbol of our bonds, our friendships, and you're not tearing that apart!"

*(Batman finally lands a blow on the Joker, who, weakened by Batman's tenacity and the collective might of his friends, goes down, defeated by the power of friendship (and money).)*

Joker: "Well, Bat, I must admit, you really know how to put a damper on the punchline."

*(As Joker and Harley are once again taken into custody, Gotham breathes a sigh of relief, proving once again that no amount of 'power creep' can defeat the heart of a hero and the bonds they share.)*

**THE END.**

I just remembered Joker has a new girlfriend/partner called "Punchline" in the comics recently? How ironic!

:kobeha::kobeha::kobeha::kobeha:

I'm laughing my ass off with Twitter / Musk sending a cease and desist to Meta / Zuckerberg over Threads

:gokulaugh:

I guess we're getting that fight between the two, in another way
LMAO! Better not tell him that Discord has "Threads" or that we and MANY other forums have "Threads" too! Is he gonna sue anyone relate to fabrics/sewing/textiles or w/e for "threads" too?

Pretty much, yes

but i think it deserved it's hype a lot more than Demon Slayer tbh

as someone that has read both series

Demon Slayer had a great anime, but the story is just okay, it's serviceable for the actual fights and stuff

It's pretty much Bleach, but better lmao
Best way i can describe is:

JJK feels like a mix between Bleach, HxH and Jojo

something like that
Honestly this makes it sound great/better too.

Your post here really resonates with me too:

Not everything needs to be the new Fullmetal Alchemist

sometimes it can just be a fun dumb series tbh

i'm kinda tired of how overly critical the internet has made me over the years

good were the days when i could just watch random stuff, even things considered awful, and enjoy them for what they were

now you have to hear from everyone how dogshit or how PEAK everything is, kinda :cr7:

Being part of forums and communities in general can end up making you more skeptical/cynical of a series, more critical of it and I've experienced that VASTLY with One Piece especially and all the more so when I used to hang around a LOT with Drizzt (not blaming him at all, far from it, he was my goat and still is in retrospect) but also with Piratefolk and such.

I appreciate these open, more critical/cynical parts of the community including here too but you can have too much of literally anything and everything and it can really get to you and stop you having "fun" anymore.

I used to love lots of series because I just enjoyed and experienced them, I just "consoomed" them and didn't give a fuck. That's why I love Fairy Tail so much because it hit all the notes of what I really love too (the anime helped a LOT beyond words) and it was one of the last series I enjoyed before cynicism really took over me too.

We live in such a dichotomous era, so tribalistic, you're either for or against, all black or white, no grey areas. Yes I'm generalising ironically but it helps my point too. Its much easier to just pick a side and bandwagon, get into groups and especially target less successful series, characters and their fans (cough) and thus pick on the "weaker ones" like bullies do too.

It takes a lot more effort, risk, guts to form your own opinions, to make your own reviews and perspectives, to have your own individual thoughts, feelings, criticisms and put yourself and thus your ego, "reputation" and even friendships potentially at risk by having some "hot takes" and thus controversial opinions.

Ironically, I want to be more like the One Piece fans who just simply enjoy the series and don't obsess/dwell on it, the ones who seem to "simple minded" but ironically are some of the happiest and most carefree. Like how I used to enjoy and love one piece. I really got addicted to OP theories MANY years ago and that was it, the olde cliche of "my theories/headcanons didn't come true so OP sucks" but OP's writing has been much worse post TS and I stand by that too regardless of my own theories/agendas/headcanons and such.

I'm rambling as usual anyway but I used to watch so many fucking anime series and I just enjoyed them, I loved them, I didn't give a fuck and I miss that. I really do. Same with games and such. To this day, I still have NO idea how I juggled playing so many fucking games, watching so many anime, cartoons, tv shows, movies, all whilst having school/college/university and a bunch of hobbies, voluntary work and such too. How the fuck did I do it?!

@Shimotsuki Ghostly finished the first episode of Record of Ragnarok

it's...something :ihaha:

pretty straight forward story, i kinda have to get around my mythology nerd brain and accepting the changes to most of the actual mythology

i do like the anime-over the top designs for the gods though, that's fun
(Oh FFS Light stop changing your name LMAO!) @Sebastian Michaelis Light of the 1000 nicknames! (And I thought I had a LOT LOL! You're still the best though man, I'm just jesting ya)

Aye, the story is very straight forward but it sets up some very interesting scenarios, fights, interactions etc. It relies on its characters to carry it and it does it really well, it really gets good tbh! I can see why certain users here adore Adam and Sasaki Kojiro from it now!

Yeah I had the same problem with the mythology changes too, especially with Thor and Shiva. It kinda grows on you though and the author does some pretty damn cool stuff with them! Buddha is an absolute wildcard but you won't see a lot of them, you won't even see them until Season 2 too lol.

It's worth persisting for the Adam, Sasaki and Jack the Ripper fights. I won't spoil them but they are really fucking good in their own ways imo. I'm a sucker for well written characters, motivations, stakes, emotional stuff and they delivered imo.

I ended up binging the series, addicted it to like crazy once the ball got rolling. Lu Bu who I'm familiar with from Dynasty Warriors and the memes with him is fucking epic later in the fight and between him, Sasaki and Hercules, I feel thats how Kaido should have been written or something like that.

I'm glad you're trying it though at least! That's awesome!

:cheers::zosmug::ace::steef::myman:

The designs are my favorite part of this show it’s insane.

I think Buddhas design is my favorite lmao
What Yasheen said too! 100% ! Some characters like Jack and Hercules have really creative movesets too! Buddhas design is exceptional too! Love it so much! I see why Light, Adam (the one with the apple at least) and I'm assuming Sasaki Kojiro here ofc (D Stronger the Kaido guy or w/e) like these characters and the series so much!

Honestly it feels so good to be sucked into a new series and addicted to it again! Reminds me of my early days getting into Jojo and MHA lmao. Until the Mid Nation attacked MHA too.

Ahahaha, I even thought of that pic when I wrote that (dont get any ideas LMAO) and your iconic pfp too! He seems like a legendary character and I love characters with scars too, they tend to be more interesting too and scars have been a huge issue for me since childhood so its a nice relatable factor too.

I'll make a start on new series next week and tbh given my binging habits too, I might end up watching a bunch of series in sucession too. Including JJK then.

Lol same.

Sometimes I just scroll through some of the manga list on some websites then binge out on some of them (spoiler alert, most of them are pretty shit) then a hidden gem pops up.

If you're curious about what hidden gem I discovered recently, it's called Rosen Garten Saga.

May I also ask what kinda of trash manga that you read before btw? Cuz some of the trash is another man's treasure.

The thing that sets Todo apart is his ability to read situations and people to a very veryyyyy high degree. It's a big contrast to his looks, but it's also just one facet of his character.

I unbiasedly think you'll enjoy him thoroughly

Oh no
Whatever you do Carrot don't play Rock Paper Scissors
:parkcry:
Should I generate a scenario of this? Might be funny? Didn't the Supernova Trio do that to decide where they were going from Wano too or nah?

Also it seems like not only Pero disappeared but Roo too? I remember Pooth coming back in December after his 9 month requested exile/ban wore off but he lasted a few weeks max and then asked for a deletion lmfao.

Oh yes! He sounds like my kind of character already! Almost like an "anime Sherlock" LMAO! Seriously though, I adore characters l ike that. Dark horses and such too.

The vibe I get from him and Gojo screams I would really like both of them too. I'm certain I will tbh.

I cant believe Chopper vs Momonga spoilers will be out in 4 days :crazwhat::crazwhat::crazwhat:
Monster Chopper vs Monster Momonga!

Okay, i half way through the second episode of Record of Ragnarok

and the slide show really is rough, jesus, this Asgard Flashback almost gave me a headache lmao

Netflix has so much money, they could've made this a bit better, god damn
Aye the flashback was awful lol. There's a part of Shiva's fight and maybe Poseidon's fight that made me grimace due to the "quality" of it IIRC.

Thats the unfortunate thing with Netflix, they LOVE to butcher adaptations/series except for Arcane and Edgerunners, but I think they barely had any input on those? Hence why they turned out FANTASTIC, especially Arcane?

Jojo Part 6 suffered due to Netflix doing it too. Really suffered sigh. It was still decent for the most part, some dodgy CGI and such but how they distributed it, the lack of marketing/hype for it and such was disgraceful. Never expected the Part 6 finale to be such a letdown in terms of "hype" and emotional impact but David Production still pulled it out of the bag with all their immense passion/love for Jojo too at least.

Rosen garten saga huh? I’ll check it out!
Disclaimer below. You have to read my warning below in order to whether to check out the series or not. Cuz the series might or might not fits your taste. Once you open the spoilers box below, you can't unsee it or going back. So make sure to prepare mentally before open the box.

Here goes nothing.
The MC (a girl) grows a dick due to supernatural power, a futa you could say.

There's also some lesbian/incest scene. Also gender bender stuff (guy turns into girl, girl turns into guy, etc.).

Beastiality, sex, gay sex, ahegao, random orgasm, etc. are also included. Basically every doujin genres/tags are in the series.

As the cherry on top, there's also a guy who fights with his dick in the open. He cuts monsters in half using his dick.

Yeah, that's that. Rosen Garten Saga has every genres in there. Sci-fi, comedy, fantasy, adventure, yuri, futa, magic, action, etc.

So if you don't mind these stuff above then I think you would enjoy it. The fight scenes are basically almost on par with One Punch Man in terms of artstyle and epicness. And the characters are cool too.
And a lot of the dropped are slice of life manga where the humor just is not for me or we’re just too slow.

Way of the Househusband - liked at first but the jokes got kinda predictable.
Quintessential quintuplets - dropped after like 4 chapters cause I disliked every character
Ruri Dragon - Saw a lot of praise for it but idk if i just wasn’t in the mood but couldn’t get into this one
Aliens Area - Again heard good things about it, but maybe the sci fi stuff just wasn’t for me
Way of the Househusband is great for me tbh. The anime is a slideshow unfortunately.

The Quintessential Quintuplets is one of my favorite romcom. Maybe you should check out the anime if you can't handle the manga.

I heard about Ruri Dragon from Chibi Reviews, maybe I would check it out. Never heard of Aliens Area though.

Is the anime to Quints better than the manga?

And as for the Rosen, as someone who read through the entirety of Domestic Girlfriend let me say that i don’t care if it’s a literal dumpster fire if it’s interesting or just “wtf” enough to keep my attention throughout I’ll read it lmao.

Is the anime to Quints better than the manga?
Not really. The anime is the faithful adaptation of the manga.

I just thought that you might like the anime pacing better than the manga if you don't like it then it's fine.
And as for the Rosen, as someone who read through the entirety of Domestic Girlfriend let me say that i don’t care if it’s a literal dumpster fire if it’s interesting or just “wtf” enough to keep my attention throughout I’ll read it lmao.

I really enjoyed the anime for Part 6

but yeah, they under-makerted it

most people didn't even know it was happening

here's hoping there's gonna be massive hype for Steel Ball Run, since it's a fan favorite
