Controversial Why can't staff be ignored

I'm not saying who I was trying to ignore, but for some reason you can't put mods nor admins on ignore.
Is there a reason for this? You should probably be able to do that. Imagine if one was harassing the fuck out of you and you couldn't do anything about it.
Simple question/request but I'm really curious about it.

You can't ignore them because they need to moderate you and you need to see their warnings, messages etc

Then why not make a system where you can still see the warnings and what not but not the other messages?

No offense, you're cool and all, but sometimes the staff team is incredibly biased.
I doubt they'd demote someone for harassing others lol.
I'm not saying that there is a staff member doing that, but still.
Also that's not the only reason to put one on ignore, I just used it as an example.

we need to be seen and we need to set a standard

for example if a staff member harasses a user and the user just puts them on ignore rather than reporting them then the team won't find out and the staff member will get away with it

I think in that scenario the user would do both, but even then it'd still be best to let them be able to put them on ignore during the report, so they're not subjected to more of it before action is taken.
There's also times where they might just be incredibly obnoxious.

I bet there's a way to program it so you can get warnings but put them on ignore.

Not something I'm that hung up on, I just wanted to known why we couldn't put them on ignore as I never noticed it before now.
