If garp, while fighting an actual admiral in his prime, is able to notice shiryu from far away and even outspeeds him, it shouldn't be far away from something zoro is already capable of. Remember, contrary to the misconception among parts of the fandom, zoro has extraordinary CoO feats already.

From what I understood, Aokiji was not there at the time and Shiliew found himself in a kind of 1vs1 against Garp. Not a great situation for anyone.

What you describe is someone powerful and crafty. If a person only has stealth, intelligence and deadly sneak attacks in his repertoire, they're definitely more fitting into cp0. They'd not be fitting for a largely destructive, full on haki based death match. Feat-wise their battle would take 2 minutes. 1 for zoro adapting to his invisibility, 1 for OH him.

Shiliew has a great AP. He was mostly on par with Magellan two years ago, just using swordsmanship, and then he went to the NW for two years. And as I said, I think he will kill Beckman.

I wouldn't worry: he will look great.

An old garp should not be out of league of zoro's EoS enemy.

Surely not, but I don't think Shiliw will be Zoro's Eos enemy and more than this Shiliew is not at his peak: let him kill Beckman and Awaken his fruit, and then you will have a real powerhouse.

Now he is not at his peak and he is against a stronger foe.

I know it's out of context but i have read too many hate comments about zoro, shiryu etc and some about katakuri's greatness from the same people.
I just wonder when those "katakuri fans" would start praising zoro ?? Zoro is stronger ofc but forget that let's look at their skill set.
I mean both have conqueror's, an advanced haki type and they are masters to their respective styles, so why not hype zoro guys?

Why is he saving Law then? Give me one reason any evidence anything at all that would suggest that. It sounds like you've made this scenario up in your head because you know Smoker has something planned for him and you don't want it to be him coming to Beehive Island.

If he's on Kizaru ship that would have been shown Smoker isn't a background character. We agree that he will meet Luffy here though so there is that.

The measure of haki is not actually important here. He was hit clean on the face with haki.

And smoker is a logia, so a clean hit with haki would definitely make him bleed. But he was still clean

Smokers had strong armament haki all post timeskip so maybe he had strong haki pre timeskip as well
