No, when Aokiji is serious and wants to use his power to the fullest, he just creates two beautiful gloves and he has done. It is just because of this that Akainu is full of burnings, and maybe his Awakening is a pair of shiny gloves lol.

Using your DF to the fullest don't mean it going to fully change your attacks .
Luffy DF awaken but he still punches and Kicks or Don DF was awaken but still uses same type of attacks.
I bet Akainu DF awaken and you still see him use CQC which is what he fuck up everyone with so far .
Some of you guys going get let down when it comes to logia awakening.

I still repsect Garp as the ultimate physical specimen and say his raw power and haki are slightly stronger (say 10 %)
However were they on an isolated island and Kuzan allowed his logia nature to take course I don't think Garp can take it

I just realized something, Kuzan could have coated his fist with coc later. This panel is just to show “ice glove”, notice how there’s no hardening here.

Observe the actual panel before the clash, we see neither Garp nor Kuzan’s hands. In the actual clash, Kuzan now has armament haki so it’s clear that he first coated his fist with ice then he coated it with haki. So the panel with “ice glove” doesn’t actually prove that Kuzan didn’t coat himself with coc.

Chronology: Kuzan uses ice glove —> Kuzan coats his fist with haki (we don’t see this) —> punch Garp’s face

Imo the biggest sign is that we don't see haki lightning flowing from Aokiji's fist, but we also don't see it from Garp either, so idk, Oda made it vague.

For now though I'm betting that it's just Garp, we already know he can make a huge explosion + haki streaks solo, as he did with Galaxy Impact.

A logia provides advantages other than that
While flash freezing wouldn't work, on contact freezing would dismantle anyone.
The sheer cold that his devil fruit provides makes it harder to function, the SHs were walking ice blocks in PH

His partizans can still cut damage Garp too, serve as distractions etc. Potential is limitless

My point is simply that there's clear indicator when used it. This is Aokiji's first haki showcase unlike Kaido in the above panel.
