Their energy was being drained, the fact that they were capable of doing what they were doing was considered a feat. Even then Luffy couldn’t fully use haki. He only did after Queen took his cuffs, which he specifically did so Luffy had a fighting chance
This is not what im talking about, it was about her energy being drained , she can't use her fruit but what about her haki? let me show you what energy being drained from seastone looks like
Their energy was being drained, the fact that they were capable of doing what they were doing was considered a feat. Even then Luffy couldn’t fully use haki.
Why does everyone hate on haki so much? Just because it doesn't work in a way that makes it easy for a bunch of weebs to use in their powerscaling arguments online doesn't mean anything is wrong with it.
It's set up so that no matter how ridiculous of a df power someone has, they can be beaten by stronger haki. Meaning that the whole story is all about a battle of wills with the df just being cool special effects for the fights and to add a unique twist.
This also means that regardless of df abilities and how op they might be, or how a bunch of random fans online perceive haki and the terms or explanations they create towards that purpose, the winner will always be determined by plot. Oda is able to have someone like chopper or usopp who doesn't even have a df neg akainu. He just has to work it into the plot where the character is is a situation where they have the will to achieve that feat.
Even if Coby unlocks both CoC and AdCoC one after the other.. I still won't believe that Zoro has AdCoC, cause it's not Swordsmanship related.. And it's obvious that's Dragon Damnation is not AdCoC, but Advanced CoA Swordsmanship technique..
