I don't really like Shiryu much, nor do i believe He is one of Zoro's Main Fights
But even ignoring his Role as a Titanic Captain, both him & Magellan were treated as Admiral Level
So Shiryu & Aokiji were always Admiral Level for me, even if both didn't join Blackbeard
But who wins in a 1v1, We will have to wait & see Shiryu's Signature Attack & Core of his Fighting Style to have a better idea

And this chapter if WE go with who accomplished more against Garp its indispensably shiryu when Aokiji was nowhere no bé found returned and got send flying again this Time by a weakened Garp.

Shiryu Can be as strong as Yonko even because Blackbeard will be above Yonko level when Luffy fight him.
Limiting shiryu to Aokiji for me is insulting for the jailor.

So much insecurities Shiryu is causing among admiral stans it's crazy many of you will be singing different tunes once his real abilities are bit more fleshed out. We didn't hear end of King slander before he displayed invincible lunarian abilities that haters still coping about to this day. History will repeat itself
