He got tied up by the fishmen citizens when they thought that luffy was kidnapping their princess. And if he broke the fucking ropes, their suspicions would only get validated. So he chose to not break them, and protect Shirahoshi without breaking them. Then asked Shirahoshi to untie him. So they can see that he's not the fucking bad guy. Since their princess is actually untying her supposed kidnapper and he's also protecting her from Vander decken.

That's different from Coby not fucking breaking off the ball and chain that is clearly obstructing his ability to move, to protect the slaves, and escape.

Don't take me wrong. Sanji getting caught is an undoubted L. But it's actually explained and is like THE biggest weakness of him.

Coby on the other hand has no such weakness, is hyped to have broken coo is hyped by garp to be the future of the Marines even Superceding Grus. Yet he gets fucking tricked by some fodder posing as pirates in the literal pirate island. Where as Grus and Garp sees through the guise, probably even Helmeppo too lol.

You say that it's the pirate island as if that matter. There were a shit ton of slaves there. Slaves being left behind wouldn't be the craziest thing in the world.

Shiryu literally doesn't matter here. Cause he doesn't even notice it's a trap until AFTER Grus yells it to him. And shiryu only attacks after that. Which he proceeds to not be able to dodge anyway and gets Garp injured as a result lol. That's just the icing on this shitty cake.

I don't know what to tell you. If you've read enough comics or manga, anti-feats are common. Kaido and Luffy were caught off guard by Guernica, even though the both have Future Sight. Do you realize how easy it is to bring up stuff like this?
