If he really wanted to, why didn't Aokiji pursue the ship with his Logia powers, hell not even pursue it, but just use the Ice Age to freeze it? The move can freeze a portion of ocean, it could surely reach a ship that even Pizarro's DF powers could reach

Katakuri does use basic CoC with his attacks
He just doesn't coat his attacks with CoC like kaido, Garp
Also Katakuri here using high level of COA
Anyway, Oda came up with CoC coating concept only during wano
So whatever that happened before that doesn't matter much
Now every leaking haki trail is usually CoC based moves

It's not like, himself, akainu just before that did not trick attack ace which is way worse than a sneak attack. And, when someone uses tricks over tricks, not only no one knows if you using worse sneak or trick is actually wrong or good because the first guy to use it corrupted the meaning of what is fair and good to use, but beside, it's only fair to trick a trickster. And anyway, that's not even what WB used. He just was enraged that Ace died, and its not like akainu was still fighting ace so he was focused 200% on it. Even if that was the case, BB is fucking 6meters+ massive, not like he would be unoticed behind you.
I mean if that's not defeated for you then idk what it is : Oda rarely ever kills a character. As long as you're out of service you lost. The only reason and you know it, why akainu came back after losing, was to fulfill plot purposes.

All we've seen from shyrui skills is that he can become invisible as absalom and rely on tricks. No advoc nothing. Even fucking pizzaro had better feats than him, namely durability.

And pizarro and pica have similar abilities so obviously coby is going to be compared to the guy that cut pica

Unlike luffy or Zoro or Sanji etc etc he had no fighting skills because his base was to weak .
Coby now know COA , CoO ( some would say CoC but lets put that side for now ) and Rokushiki in 2 years.
The only people that even with is growth is the monster trio and the had a way higher base.
