I'm talking about the skirmish between Shiryu and Garp, in which Shiryu won. Shiryu did a lot more damage than he received. That's all. But in a long one-on-one fight, he would certainly lose.
When did that skirmish happen you braindead fck?show.me the "skirmish"? Or do you mean when garp got in front of shiryus blade to save cobys life?thats a skirmish to you,YOURE DESPERATE to save face after the BB pirates could barely defeat an 80yo man and it shows😂

Nah I would find that kind of boring, I'm really hoping Vasco can do other stuff with his devil fruit.

It's getting a bit tiresome seeing so many fire based attacks.
Well given what Vasco has shown thus far dude spitting fire was his contribution to subduing someone doing nigh toe to toe with an admiral caliber fighter

Comdom boys hate Coby more than Zoro now
:saden:
Why so? Coby using CoC justifies Luffy insta grasping CoC coating. Even if not, then Luffy is not talented or destined just grown up through his sheer will and hard work. Either way, it is a win-win situation.

If anything, it is a cope for anti-Luffy squad. When Luffy did semi-sky split in chapter 1012, I remember the acid rain that flooded this forum. After Zoro was used, it became damage control, now with Coby, marine fandom just joined that rank.
People trashing Coby is not exclusive to Luffy fandom. :kayneshrug:

Let's be real here. Everything Kuzan did in these last chapters were the same thing BB would do (shock face, ass beaten, but in the end he wins)

Oda knew BB underlings wouldn't be capable to stop the Hero of the marines so he send one Admiral there to make things more credible.

Can you explain to me why Garp is used ageinst the admirals? I mean Garp is admiral level, it is known, so everything Garp is doing should be expected from the admirals. Therefore Garp’s hype = Admiral’s hype.
Or am i missing something?

I ask you because you are an admiral fan in the forefront of this argument.
No need termodynamic IQ to understand :
Garp is considered as TOP 3 in the verse. Not a mere admiral. at least not in theory.
Yet he was even unable to ko 1 single high tier in a 1 vs 4 fight. He basically lost to half a yonko crew without his captain. A yonko crew that also had a Ladmiral. So basically what does it shows ?
It's that Larine no matter who they are since they are Larines, are Losers, beneath even a Yonko crew without his captain, and this since beginning of the story since marine appeared post ancien kingdom.
Do you believe WB, or GR, or luffy or Kaido to come to hashinosu and lose? All 4 would mid diff everyone and leave. Shanks too etc, link between all those dudes ? Not a single marine, all Yonkos and above.

He’s a pirate now, automatically makes him a pussy

Thing is all these people put in hardwork coby just started way later and know that he weak so he train extra hard .

Are we sure that Koby is using Adv CoC?
Because that doesn't seem the case, given this which we 100% know being no Adv CoC

As seen with Luffy, Zoro, and Shanks, people should faint with Adv CoC as it involves CoC, why no one faints here?

Yeah Garp's punch is the same in visuals, but Garp too may have used "only" powerful Armament Haki in this move, and Adv CoC in Blue Hole for instance

Dunno, it's confusing

Well he was smart enough not to take any damage lol .
Work smarter not harder

there is barely any haki trail to signify any Coc use in the attack which us a very intrinsic detail about it

I don't think it's adv.coc also.

When people use CoC, others people faint or it's directly said "what is this power". Nothing here.

Ulti vs luffy same, here luffy vs katakuri.

I think it's just the COA at high lvl like Katakuri.

When zoro used adv.coc, the fodders got knocked out and King said : "King's ambition" so we understood it's adv.coc.
Same for Luffy when Kaido directly said "this power is not for everyone".

Garp and Koby didn't use adv.coc imo.

been theorising but does anyone find Garp's lesson particularly interesting... all about saving the future generation...

this is 100% linked to Luffys grandmother. Garp was faced with the impossible choice of saving his wife or his grandson and decided to save Luffy. This led to Dragon and Garp never speaking from then on.

Garp is trying to console himself by saying that "why did you all become marines, isn't it important to protect the people's future" but knowing what the Revs and what they stand for makes complete sense when you think about why Dragon would hate/not speak to him
also makes sense why Garp is so hard on Luffy in particular…
