-Garp's reputation as Roger's rival is legit
-Even in old age he can give top tiers an ext diff fight, except Big Mom whom he beats

Judging the panel, it was Aokiji on his own who ended it. Aokiji himself told the rest that they are basically fodder that wouldn't do a difference even if Garp had both his arms and legs tied, plus, it was personal; teacher vs former student.

I'd say Aokiji still being covered in ice and just being in front of Garp while others are farther and looking relaxed is pretty telling. it looks like the fight between Kuzan/Garp finished a bit before this page and they're looking at the result.
