I suspect Shiryuu's strength is unknown he hasnt been tested given even after old garp attacked him and he laughed .

I think Shiryuu has strong endurance you cant just laugh even after Garp's punches.

I thibk he is below admiral level because he treaded carefully when Garp was causing havoc.

Shiryu Can be as strong as Yonko even because Blackbeard will be above Yonko level when Luffy fight him.

Limiting shiryu to Aokiji for me is insulting for the jailor.

As long you guy remain dishonest by brinking up squardn we will never reach an understanding. Squardo damaging wb is no different to what if someone luffy trust poison luffy thanks to their freindship before a fight mainwhile shiryu only forced garp to directly confront him didnt take away garps abilities to use haki. Luffy litteraly used his head to shield a princess in dressrosa breaking that sword at the same time. Why couldnt garp do the same? even admiral fans themself are asking why garp didnt protect himself cause he clearly got enough time to know that. If garp is revealed to be a futur sign user it will only make thing worst. The obvious answer is that garp defended himself but shiryu broke that defense with his own haki once the iron garp comment by the author himself.

WB had future sight and still got hurt by Squard.
WB is the same guy that while asleep could defeat multiple times Ace nonchalantly.
WB was the world STRONGEST man, and yet, Squard went faster than his Future sight and hit him harder than his conqueror's haki.
Squard is, WITHOUT A DOUBT, the STRONGEST character in One Piece.

1st. They're both held in similar viewing for Blackbeard, despite Shiryuu having been on the crew for 2 years now and Kuzan being a newer member:


2nd. Even in this fight, the two people to damage Garp are Kuzan and Shiryuu. And Garp gave both of them the same treatment.


3rd. The cover should speak for itself.

There's nothing to push, Kuzan factually is the 3rd strongest member of the Blackbeard pirates after Blackbeard & Shiryuu, as the 10th Titanic captain. He's not an ally of Blackbeard's, he's not an associate, he's an actual crew member who is under Blackbeard's command.

Kuzan got weaker than his pre-TS self, Shiryuu on the other hand got stronger than his pre-TS self. I've said it for a while now, Shiryuu will be relative to Teach.

Many reasons:
Kuzan was not depicted as member of BB pirates yet when we got that cover, as such we got a chapter, recently, stating that he was part of them as confirmation.
Kuzan is clearly setup to being not a loyal member of that crew, having no interest in really following them and just tagging along, ala Nico Robin with Baroque Works.
Kuzan can go toe to toe against Garp and not go for cheap shots while he is busy with something else, even to the point of not using his fruit.
Kuzan can fight Garp without his fruit and damage while Shiryu has to go through loops to even try.
Kuzan gets punched repeatedly while shiryu takes ONE punch and looks like he's hurt badly.
Shiryu was a prison guard while Kuzan was depicted as almost at the same level of Akainu, who is probably top 3 of universe.
Shiryu : Teach = King : Kaido = Pica : Doffy = Kaku : Lucci = Mr.1 : Crocodile.
Oda always write simple things, it's just that you have to be honest with what you see.

But shiryus equal one shotted bb pirates. Kuzan is almost equal to akainu so the 3 admirals are as strong as each other. Then bb is afraid of kuzan and akainu so it's possible that the m3 are going to face equal opponents since we're in the end game now. After all, Sanji also is going to end up as the wsc.
