What kind of Frankenstein type of grapes do you have over there? :snoopy:

I have too many favorite fruits, but I gotta say a fig that's ripe just right is a piece of heaven.:neesama:
There are many many types of grapes (source: I used to work in a vineyard a couple of aummers, during harvest season)

There's a type of grape popular in our region where the berries are so tightly packed it's almost impossible to eat it cleanly. But it's super sweet.

And because it's so tightly packed, you can sometimes find small spiders and spiderwebs inside (because it offers protection and is a good hunting ground for even smaller insects that eat the grapes)

That very fascinating and educational... but now for the rest of my life I'll be paranoid of a nasty spidery surprise every time I eat a grape.

Ooh a good persimmon is hard to beat, I agree

As for peaches, they used to be way juicier 15ish years ago. Nowadays I rarely find a really tasty peach, which is a shame because peaches rock
aye, i rarely buy peaches these days, for the reasons you mentioned. i hate the bland ones with that weird banana-like texture. but when i do manage to find good ones, they're delicious. i also like peach-flavored ice cream (even though i'm generally not a fan of ice cream).
