I thought this was a thread about chapter 981 spoilers but it turned into a popularity contest between members instead.

Toki will have a major moment in the future. Oda:

a) Didn't even show her dying, especially for a flashback character this is super weird

b) has yet to explain why she even wanted to be back in Wano. She clearly knows a ton and it purposefully has not been elaborated on.


Not saying she's alive, but it's curious in the least. Kaido could be holding her hostage though, we don't know what happened to her after she collapsed.

I dislike Wano for a ton of reasons:

-The terrible Oden flashback

-Udon

-Oda off-screening important things while prioritizing gags

Etc.

I have issues with the pacing, and the number of players is both getting out of hand and likely to increase, but I’m still enjoying it WAY more than I did WCI.

Wano has a little bit pacing issues in Arc 2 but is very good and entertains me!

That’s all I’m trying to do here, man...I may not be thrilled about certain smaller or long-running aspects of the story, but One Piece has been my favorite manga for more than 15 years, and I think my presence and activity here speak to that.
