I actually disagree
I think the decision of making some designs and costumes look goofy makes perfect sense for One Piece
in fact, most people that read other mangas and start reading One Piece, it's the first thing they notice, the cartoonish / childish-like art style
Alvida's design from the start is one of those characters for example
I guess if you weren't a fan of stuff like Power Rangers and Kamen Rider growing up, it might be a bit weird lmao
But it feels so much more emotionally in tune with the original series, compared to other live actions so far
but then again, it could still suck
but i only really care about Zoro, and that character is in good hands
