Oh yeah I forgot, she ends up in the real world with Ken and discovers the Mattel factory where all Barbies are made and thus the fame of Barbie.
So yeah definite existential crisis focused story, but the synopsis for the film do mention that too.

Visually they got it completely perfect, as accurate as it could be. Ridiculously loud, saccharine, vibrant, colourful etc whatever lol.

The flat feet part was so OOT/obnoxious though, it killed my ears and almost me entirely from cringe lol.
Put me off the film from that especially.

i can already tell this is going to be fun.i'm watching it.

it’s got pretty well-rounded and nuanced commentary too, a lot more genuine than a half-assed “girls can do it!” while also criticizing extremist ideology.

Honestly I feel Barbie should have been one of those films with a slasher parody version. It would have been hilarious potentially especially with Margot leading it imo. Could be like a season of American Horror Story especially the 1984 one (the best one by far imo and my favourite).

Barbie: "Wanna die tonight Ken?"
