What will you paint?
Nah, i always expect Jester to be in the game. Rarely true but it's like cult to me
they have to be announced or hinted usually for 2 reasons:

1. an unannounced jester is the easier role in the game to play, announcing it makes town careful about how to approach the wagon and incentivizes the jester to be smart about getting himself lynched

2. unannounced jester being lynched is a free lynch outside of the mafia team that town couldnt have anticipated. the assumption that jester shud be in every game (when they r only in like 5% of the games) isnt something town shud be expected to hold. its basically such a pro mafia role in terms of balance if its unannounced as mafia is never shooting that player and town is bound to lynch them

Well, if i ever decided to host a game, i'll remember that.

I mean i won't but i will remember there's something off with jesters and i'll just avoid putting one there

That jester thing was more of a joke tbh, having some dark humour sometimes. But still a jester would be less bastard to me than a completely invincible vigilante indie who has to kill more townies than scum. I know what SRM is like but it should be a bit more fair and not that much full of elements and roles that are fucking town completely over every single round.
