Yeah, I don't think this is going to be good for Slur's mental health. I wonder if there's something going on beyond the obvious as hell split personalities?
Funnily enough, I still mainstain that the split personalities narrative is a red herring and Uzuki is hiding/protecting something again, and manipulating the way he's perceived again

Short but sweet chap.

The Nagumo scene was so sad. Hyo is as old of a friend as Sakamoto is. And he reafirmed that Hyou wasnt weak, he was just too nice. If Kumanomi fought anyone else....she wouldve been packed up.

But yh the pacing seems crazy lol. It feels like everything is moving so fast. Im getting the vibe isnt gonna be the last arc for Slur since the others are going to Japan. Im thinking we might get a short battle in Thailand and learn more stuff....and then the final battle will be in Japan.

This is a set-up chapter, but still have very good pacing and content. It's good to know Sakamoto has a plan. Characters who always uses their brains are the most pleasant to read. Also good to read Sakamoto and Shin acknowledging that Uzuki and Gaku are that guys. Akira and Kanaguri finally met Slur's Group. Maybe we will get the flashback about what happened between Uzuki and Rion, and Slur's Group unraveling Kanaguri's double agency.

Not sure if we get another flashback so soon, but it's definitely teased, maybe there will be at least some explanation from Uzuki to Akira?
And so much yes, love the smart characters, my first manga that got me into reading manga was Death Note, and it's always a delight to see characters duel with their wits!

I can see this happening:
Akira bodies him partway/near death.
Kashima thinks Uzuki will step in and protect him/finish off Akira
Uzuki offs Kashima both for his suspicions and due to the reaction he had seeing Akira
Yh. Or maybe Uzuki is too stunned to help him. Either way works. But yh Kashima seems like he will turn on them.

@Rootbeer did you read this chapter? Haki has officially arrived in other series.
How so ? Bloodlust ?

Okish at best chapter imo.

Nagumo is a real one for this

Slur and Gaku wank is always appreciated

Kumanomi continues to deliver. I believe that line with the emoji indicates she probably captured Heisuke as well. We'll see soon I guess.

Besides that I don't really have much to say lol.

It looks like Slur's Group will be going into a character arc about their goals and Uzuki's suggested mental disease coming into conflict. I hope they manage to pull through and continue to be a gang with a strong fellowship despite their rogue occupation. The reason this aspect of them delighted me so much is that i think the trope of "A villain who only cares about himself, and thinks he can succeed in life by seeing other people as nothing more than tools, and these things later contributing to his downfall." is very outdated, and Slur's Group seemed to be my wish to read this trope being subverted coming true. And if Uzuki indeed have a mental disease,Yuto must handle it properly. SD has been such a brighten up in my weeks lately,i would be heartbroken if Yuto repeats the piss-poor job Lolda did with Big Meme's mental disease.
