We know while the other emperor are now actively going for the one piece cross guild waiting in the background. Luffy, shanks, and teach each have 3/4 road poneglyphs with seemingly none of them being any closer to finding the last one. That’s what it seems at first but more likely than not the strawhats are falling behind after their massive lead
We know just like them that to get to the last poneglyph you need to find the man with the burn scar. Shiryu speculated that whoever it is might have ties to the world government making it almost impossible for any pirate to get his stone….
Meaning as you’re probably already putting together it explains why Blackbeard has been planning on capturing marines. More importantly it explains why he want pirate island to be an official world government kingdom. The closer they are to the world government the closer they are to that last poneglyph
Shanks already has some sort of inside connections with the world government as we’ve seen. He was respected enough by sengoku to the point he stopped the war and let the pirates leave with whitebeard and ace’s bodies, he was allowed into the holy land to talk to the gorosei, and he’s likely related in some way to st. Figarland Garling. So he might possibly be playing nice for now in order to get intel on where the man with the burn scar is.
Then we have the strawhats with just no leads at all as to where he could be found…
Tho they’ll figure it out somehow. With no only real option being forcing it out of Saturn even if they have to find a way to use the paw fruit to see his memories.
There is a second even more out their way they can find out too. That’s if a specific character knows a lot more than they’re letting on. That character being caribou lol. If he somehow secretly worked for the burn scar man the whole time as some minor subordinate it would be kinda funny
All that happening while cross guild waits for their time to shine. When that time is right they challenge the strawhats to a Davy back fight for everything they have. As to why they won’t just try to steal everything while they’re asleep or knocked out I think as a whole they have to pride and just respect for the strawhats at least. Like imagine mihawk being ok beating and robbing an already exhausted zoro lol. I can’t see him doing that personally
And if any crew knew how to throw a large event in no time it’s gonna be buggy’s. It’d be bigger, better, harder, funnier, and more er words than the previous
1 of the games obviously being dedicated to zoro and mihawk in order for zoro for him to finally achieve his promise to kuina, luffy, and himself
The last game being a between the captains with buggy at first obviously having no shit at all but that’s when Moria comes in. He can use all the shadows of everyone in cross guild in order to massively boost buggy’s strength temporarily. With at the end of the day the strawhats obviously winning and making luffy pirate king.
