Who suffered the most from Sukuna between the 2 heroes ? Yuji or Megumi ?

Sukuna is really doing a number on them lol

Megumi, his whole reason to Fight and alive is to save Tsumiki. Now when she is gone he didn't have any reason to.

Honestly, Megumin breaking down and going nuts would be kinda interesting. Would serve for a decent extra mini arc

I'll go with Yuji.

Just because Yuji has a better mentality than Megumi doesn't mean he suffered less.

His whole schtick is "saving others" and Sukuna used that multiple times against him.

First it was when he didn't even try saving Junpei and laughed in Yuji's face as Junpei died (whether or not Sukuna could even do anything there is irrelevant bcz Yuji didn't know)

Second is the hundreds if not thousands of people he killed in Shibuya.

Third is him taking over Megumi's body, the closest thing Yuji had to a best friend.

Plus, Sukuna would constantly verbally harrass Yuji by making his mouth appear on Yuji's body and shit talking. We saw this in chapter 2 or 3 when Gojo and Yuji arrive at Jujutsu High and Yuji mentions that Sukuna does that from time to time


Megumi's suffering wasn't any less, emotionally speaking. But Yuji had a way more constant barrage of suffering thrown at him while remaining somewhat sane

But Megumi has suffered much much more on a personal and familial level imo.

Megumi's personal creed was "save people unequaly" and "save Tsumiki". Tsumiki was the only family member left for him, and Sukuna killed her.
The tragedy there is self evident.

Yuji's family was no more before he became a sorcerer.
His creed is "save people", being given to him by his grandpa as a dying wish, or curse.
So every time Yuji doesn't save someone/Sukuna goes out of his way to kill someone, it's a deep wound for Yuji. Just because those people aren't his blood family, doesn't mean that Yuji doesn't suffer.

If Yuji gives him a new purpose then maybe. There are theories that Sukuna (alive) and Megumi will separate at some point, and Megumi might fight at that point.
