No easier task than that for Oda to find a way and have the crew get bailed out. Funny thing about Egghead is, Oda can Introduce whatever plot device he wants to help the crew and just claim VP created it before because of the genius that he is.

Saturn might definitely flex on Luffy, but when there are two guys on opossing sides called World's greatest scientist and God of science/defence I'm thinking in some way they will have a confrontation may it be verbally or physically or both.

The main hype for this arc will be the lore reveal and only VP can deliver that.

Physical? Man, VP is no match for Saturn. Even if Saturn really tries to kill VP then expect Luffy to intervene.

What oda skipped

• how York is captured
• As york is captured so seras are under control now - not sure they got defeated but definitely brought under control .
• Other people on the island managed to escape

Present timeline

• Lucci+ kaku + Stussy+ Sentamaru are seen as SHs allies
• Lulusia event caused world wide earthquake and rose sea-level by 1 mtr
• IMU and Gorosei now wants more mother flames (after learning destruction capabilities of the weapon) so they want york and Power plant
• Kizaru and Gorosei seized the island

You're forgetting the ancient robot. I would bet money on that thing being used to fight in this arc, no way Oda misses to draw this.

You don't think above anything else Oda will hype the technology of the ancient Kingdom especially against one of the Gorosei ?

I believe VP will sacrifice himself to let the crew escape. He's not surviving this arc. Like Kaido he is one of those characters better off dead.
