I can understand that when your fav character gets a new form/pu its really enjoyable etc etc but spamming for months "yo it will break the internet, best thing ever, its better than ssj/muir" and stuff like that is dumb.

OP as a story is far better than DBZ no one denies that.
Its also a fact that DBZ transformations/PUs shits on OP.

While OP is undeniably the most sold manga of all time worldwide, I think some diehard OP fans are insecure about the series lacking iconic, immortal, power-ups moments like DBZ.
This is why they pushed Gear 5 so hard these past months lol. But artificial hype can't beat real hype

I loved the Goku Black fights.

I actually kind of miss DBS anime lol, plot was stupid, animation was shit lot of time but it knew how to be hype.

I actually the like concept of G5 in itself (ultimate control of Luffy's rubber body is a much better power-up than lol haki) but the whole nika god stuff was unnecessary.
Also I still don't understand why Oda merged G5 introduction chapter with the distracting Hiyori/Orochi drama inbetween.

SSJ Goku and SSJ 2 Gohan have a special place my heart
I will never forget how my father showed me DBZ when I was 4-5. Goku's SSJ transformation was the first thing that I saw. I became obsessed with DB after this moment and with anime in general.
Sage Mode Naruto hyped me the most though. Naruto was my fav manga/anime and this moment felt like the beginning of a finale fight

Yeah the actual transformation is perfect for the story; but Nikas forced exposition was really bad. The actual form is good but it had the disservice of wanos writing
