Kaku was interesting but not in any regards to his antagonistic relationship with Zoro. That was milktoast and their fight wasn't anything special.

I think zoro is shittier than luffy. He brings absolutely nothing out of his opponents.

Well making a character worse by your presence is worse than your presence having no effect on the quality of a character

No one gave a shit about King before he faced Zoro
When he faced Zoro Oda gave him layers like Lunara Powers, called him a good, gave him good back story and the Run way model looks. People started caring about him, then he got the best animation in the series

People quite literally respect Kaido more than he faced Luffy, he had an air of invincibility about him but then Oda turned Kaido goofy, gave him drunk mode and ruined his ass

People Like Kaido more before he faced Luffy
Poeple like King more after he faced Zoro

So in Wano alone
Zoro made his opponent better
Luffy made his opponent worse

no fault of the character

Kaku the absolute goat imo. Him and Daz gave Zoro the best fights by far. Only Godhawk will probably top them for me.

King was decent but too short imo. He deserved fairly longer with awakening, hybrid and more fire stuff. But King himself is pretty cool, ironically.

Kaku was the only Zoro opponent with actually personality, Quirks, Comic Timing, layers etc

Daz was the perfect antagonist, Baroque Works' top agents were the first and most successful mirror matches for the Monster Trio.

Crocodile with impossible powers that trusted no one
Daz Bones, the "sword" man who took Zoro's laconic nature to the extreme
Bonclay, who took Sanji's flamboyancy and love for women to the extreme

In those fights, you can say that Zoro was going against himself there.

Kaku was just a villain who was friendly with Lucci, who had a goofy personality but did nothing to advance Zoro vs Kaku. It was just a fight.

Luffy is the main character the strawhats are his supporting cast each with varied relevance depending on the arc

It’s title is based on luffy’s dream, has luffy’s Jolly Roger that’s based on him, and even has a little luffy as the i lol
It’s always been luffy’s story. The strawhats have always prioritized luffy and his dream over their own

Even pre timeskip we had a whole saga where the other strawhats weren't relevant and it was just luffy. We’ve had hundreds of chapters were the whole crew was split up during dressrosa all the way to the start of wano. The only consistent thing being luffy the man character was around

Trolling aside I will not say anything until an admiral goes all out especially color admiral. Logia awakenings can be busted.

I can expect Kizaru to show attacks stronger than Kaido's but I doubt he'd presented overall as dominating as Kaido.
Especially since Straw Hats were still growing in Wano
