Genuinely believe Kishi was just setting up random plot points and still deciding on how to resolve the entire shitshow of how Overpowered Madara was. Before he chose Kaguya route. We had Tenten getting Sage Tools, we had Minato still not showing off his super secret Jutsu, so many random points that led to nowhere or were never resolved.

Susano’o Kakashi was the craziest thing that ever happened though. Surpassed all expectations. To this day I’m pretty sure many fans consider DMS Kakashi at least Top 5 in the verse because of how easily he BLITZED an exponentially stronger Kaguya than the one Naruto and Sasuke fought.

Then what was the point of Zoro sanji and Jinbe who clearly looked ready for a fight? Luffy could’ve told him to let him handle Ryokugyu 1v1 like he did with Kaido, but nah, Luffy wasn’t brave enough.

Let me say it like this. You have an ability that let‘s you sense and know what’s going on from far away. You sense something is going. What do you do? Sanji, jinbe and Zoro were observing together with Luffy in case they needed to step in. Now this does not mean all of them step in. Only as many as necessary. Nobody here uses Luffy’s randomass claims for considering Ulti stronger than most F6 and some Commanders (*cough* Jack *cough*). It’s her feats that do all the talking.

Guys, you check every chapter to try pushing some false equivalence but it's the first time Oda has Luffy react to how powerful someone presence is in surprise (not going to troll and push the scared thing) as a cliffhanger.
This is not Luffy giving someone a compliment after he performed some cool feat , it's Luffy's
instinctively reacting from the raw power of someone he doesn't even have visual contact with.

On top of that, it happens after Wano where Luffy supposedly fought and surpassed the peak of power in the verse.
