With confirmation that Elbaf is the next arc, it seems to cast doubt on a lot of the nonsense people were talking about Kid being dead or his role in the story being over.

As we know, his ship sank right off the coast of Elbaf. Contrary to popular belief, getting sunk, especially right by an island, isn't an effective method of killing strong characters.

We can draw a parallel to Law perhaps? Maybe some of the crew members swam with Kid and Killer over to another Island? Who knows. Hard to tell without any plot progression in that area.

Pedro is dead at this point. Oda finally has balls to kill tertiary characters. Kid definitely not though.

His will definitely will be broken imo, and its the arc where he and Luffy will probably end up completely allying for the endgame. Law already respects Luffy so thats not needed, but we'll see Law on the island after im sure

New World - Elbaf

Strawhats land on Elbaf soil. Luffy jumps out and takes a retarded separate path from the rest of the crew. Luffy sees a member of the Mid Pirates. Mid Pirates take Luffy to a room where Mid is on life support. Mid wakes up and begs Luffy to avenge him, because Shanks beat his ass badly. Luffy gets mad. Rest of Elbaf wanks Shanks.

Thats it for Kid. Next time we see him, best case he fights a Gorosei or some fodder Holy Knight. Worst Case he fights some Coby-level Marine on Akainus Payroll.

Comparing to Smoker, who got bodybagged by Doffy (a weaker tier pirate than Shanks who only used haki on his bootycheeks to give Smokey a lapdance) didn't show up for 500 chapters to this day, I hope and belive Mid is getting the same treatment. Throne race is almost over, only Shanks, BB, and Luffy left.

You should be hoping he's dead, he's out of the PK race and has as much relevancy as Smoker, if he returns it won't be to look good.
