because i agree with this opposing argument
the truth tell move may be more annoying if you rolled scum, so i understand where others might be coming from in regards to this
i think people need to get a little more creative in regards to something like this if host discretion doesn't clarify it's rule breaking in the game. if hosts don't, that's the fault of the host IMHO
it's still manipulating the game, and it isn't a "wrong" way to play if we
exclude the majority preference here. it can actually be used as a 3D chess move, and scum can obviously easily bus the player, town still gets a flip out of it. bada boom. the chances of someone not getting lynched or at least benefiting one party is so slim, there's not a massive impact on the game itself aside from player reactions
it goes both ways, it's not some either/or thing
we all could argue about integrity and emotional plays, but emotional plays are not rule breaking. are they annoying, as nat has stated? yes.
