I still remember weeping into my mom's chest as a child, wondering how my government supported murdering innocent girls, and seeing her blank look. It broke me.

My mental illness was truly born the day I realize my parents knew that my country, the US, openly loved murdering children in the Middle East, and no one cared.

The animals you mentioned are as fucked up as we are. All the terrible shit that most modern societies criminalise has an equivalent in the animal kingdom: child sexual abuse,rape,kidnappings,murder etc. Look up videos of rabbits eating their own babies for example.
