China is all ready to invade Taiwan any given moment.
China - India Conflict , India- Pakistan conflict.

If you consider Russia and China to be on the Allies' side in WW2, they were both murdering their own citizens even harder than Hitler did. Mao and Stalin were just as crazy and evil as Hitler. Back then, the US still had some decent leadership.

That all ended when the US decided to pick up the remnants of nazi Germany and give them high scientific positions within the government.

And then the US decided to start blowing up the Middle East and dropping napalm on Vietnamese kids... hehhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I feel like WW2 just broke humanity and that we've never recovered from all the fucked up things that happened during it

Problem with WW2 is that it gave some easy ass propaganda. A US citizen believes America joined WW2 in retaliation to having their people murdered, and that their presence alone won't the whole war and made America the first world Super Power, the greatest and freest county to ever exist. Anywhere not America is lesser than them and an enemy of democracy. Nothing is wrong in a nation of nationalists.

Obviously other countries the same. Hitler and Stalin were legit viewed as heroes in their regions.

And who cares about how they identify as? The examples i gave are separated by biological sex, not gender identity.

There have been plenty of wars fought without people genociding citizens in their own country like Germany, or crazy techonological developments like nukes.

Humans have always been barbaric as hell in wars, but, WW2 was a new level, in a lot of ways.

Even WW1, the footage was very grainy and hard to find.

Footage of the Holocaust really showed just how disgusting humanity had become. Then Vietnam happened, and the footage from it proved that all of the bullshit about war being good for people was proven to be completely false. Modern war makes profit for the rich, and gives death and destruction to everyone else.
