The Departed is one of my favorite action movies, the crew was next level. Look at these names
Jack Nicholson
Di Caprio at his prime
Matt Damon
Mark Walhberg

Goodfellas is another big shot movie but the thing is there are many similar movies of that genre and era, but not a lot of modern action movies were as smooth as The Departed

Shutter Island was a great suspense movie. Taxi Driver was groundbreaking. Age of Innocence was very well made, and a surprising departure from his usual work. I don't care for most of his movies though, as I tire of people being beaten to death with a baseball bat in nearly all of his films.
