Someone, tell Oda's daughters to be careful of Iñaki, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if Oda gives his inheritance to Iñaki instead of his own daughters
And when will the show be cancelled?

How long will Shueisha and Oda take to cut ties with that ass face?

There's so much love pouring into this show, I hope for the best and Inaki gets to play Luffy for a long time
But sure, don't be disappointed when it gets canceled after season 1.

We know Oda is a perfectionist, he would never accept a Luffy actor that doesn't feel right to him. It's 70% truth, 30% acting
But do you really think Oda was involved in this shit?

But seriously, did you know that Godoy is thirty years old? How believable do you think he can be as Luffy?

Okay, so you're hoping Luffy is played by a 30-year-old....
One Piece is currently in its Final Saga. Providing Oda doesn’t pull 2 Wanos, I don’t see it going on for another decade. Kinda unfortunate since part of me doesn’t want it to end, but it will eventually.

You were implying Inaki was 30 already. He’s only 20 now (source), and in a decade he’ll be 30. He’s still young. 30 is still young.

CGI will probably advance even further by that time, so they could use editing to make him look younger, similar to what they did in Gemini Man.

This is if the live-action series succeeds and continues until the end of the manga, which it very well could providing Netflix doesn’t cancel it.

Um, what's that got to do with it? We talk about the live action, not the manga.

My bad.
But still he looks thirty years old

The Live Action series won't last that long, even if it's perfect and watched by many.

That's simply because most series only get less viewers over time, it's not in constant growth. So it's not in the interest of the studio to keep making it.

So Netflix's strategy has always been to invest in an IP, bring in the fans for a few seasons and then drop it once there isn't that same level of interest from the start of the series.

I don’t think I ever made a comparison, that’s just how it works. The same applies to the anime, although it’s long enough already with the pacing and filler. :luuh:
Sorry, but do you really think that the live action will be extended if the manga is extended?

But what is the reasoning?

It will take years to get to where we are in the manga, and it's not even said that they will.

Iñaki has that kind of face he simultaneously looks 15 and 30 at the same time. It might be due to his prominent under eye bags and nasolabial folds while he has still got baby fat on his face. Not intended to be a criticism of his looks, just an observation.

I don't think they will even make it to Marineford, let alone the Timeskip.
