From what I could tell you town locked him after he said Pero was a gut feeling scum read but then you go around and tell Pero you will save him from a lynch.
I for one dont like playing mafia with players ignoring each other, it kind of detracts from the point of playing but whatever. Also makes it harder to read players through some interractions.
