Luffy’s 2 main gear 4th forms are boundman and snakeman with one focusing on attack power and the other attack speed.
What if he actually has something similar for defense as well?

We already know tankman exist even tho we only saw it once and the stuffed version at that. With tankman basically being the defensive version of boundman it man focus being to straight up tank attacks
Imo that might open up the gate a bit for a defensive version of snakeman. A form that focuses on dodging and avoiding attacks instead. A form that like snakeman relies heavy on observation haki. It basically working like kami-e/paper arts

It’d be cool if luffy kinda does what katakuri did to him to kizaru in a monkey see monkey do type of way
Kizaru is famous for his speed and apparently his barrier armament. What if luffy uses the opposite forms to counter or even outdo him.

Tankman having better defense than him and shutenmaru
Opposite snakeman either making him almost impossible to touch through a paper arts like technique

Or just make him move dumb fast instead

I think it could be a gear 4 form like tankman. While in g5 he can do everything plus more

But g4 has specific modes : speed, raw power and defence

Maybe Luffy will showcase normal tankman finally? Or in g5?

Oda has been highlighting defence this arc with Sentomaru and Kizaru

Maybe Luffy beats Kizaru by using tankman ?
