So Sasaki isn´t really down, probably didn´t even get "neg diffed".
He rather get catch up by Kyoshiro tied him up and leaving the place. Smart move of Oda to take out Sasaki for a while until Who´s Who finding Yamato and getting the chance to fight a calamity. Do Sasaki looking bad with this one,maybe but it still better then he getting one shotet by Kyoshiro who thanks god didn´t happen. But Sasaki also get a plotarmor on his side, Kyoshiro could now easily kill him off, why he didn´t do that, Oda should explain this.

I think the dialogue will explain it perfectly tbh.

Sasaki is supposed to be one of the top fighters in a Yonko’s crew, and he’s being treated like a fool right off the bat. Admittedly, Denjiro should be a very formidable fighter, but what do you think the purpose of this is? What am I supposed to take away from this moment other than the Beast Pirates STILL aren’t as intimidating as they should be?
