A good example of this is the case in the UK with the student who demands to be referred to as a cat. They want a litter tray in the bathrooms. They demand someone change their speech (how they refer to someone) to ensure their own desires are met. If people disagree with this, it is not freedom if you are forced to comply or be expelled from school (which happened to two teenage girls who disagreed to comply).
Let's not get into trans ideology either where if you, in good faith, make a mistake with a pronoun, you can be chewed out and verbally assailed without any recourse.

I am in no way transphobic. In my daily life I will respect people's pronouns, even if I disagree, because I don't want to hurt people -- but I inadvertently do sometimes, no doubt.

Much like we all agree that right-wingers can spin stories to fit their narrative, it's also possible for left-wingers to try and spin negative stories to discredit them. I've listened to the video, and it doesn't feel staged. I went to school in the UK. This is definitely the sort of shit that happens.

Yeah this sounds like a bunch of girls that are trying to delegitimize transgender. Plus this is an isolated incident as said in the article.

I will apologise, but at the same time, if someone gets in my face and gets aggressive for something I did not intend, I feel like it's in bad faith and they're nothing but people who are using their supposed position of weakness to control others.
I'd argue race is more of a social construct than sex tbh, though that's a little taboo to say.

Now its worth noting that in some case of DID ( dissociative identity disorder) people can sometimes identify as "non conventional" people or beings. Its doesn't means they are crazy. I suggest you guys check on it, its very interesting.
