This is probably the best chapter of egghead (as in set on the egghead island itself) and it’s not even because of story (because who gives a fuck about Sentomaru)… It’s just Kizaru’s powers.

man it’s been so long since a fight involved interestingly visualized powers that I forgot that Oda can actually do this… Like after all of the Haki and black lightning and Zoan fruits and mochi fruits, finally we have a power set that in itself is simply visually interesting to look at

Good Job Oda. I rarely ever say or believe Oda does anything well anymore but good job. Please don’t make the rest of the fight a CQC haki punch up. Please.

Kizaru always manages to look awesome on panel. It's the non combat panels of him phasing around the island while taking pauses in between, which were probably the best parts of the chapter. Look great visually, and Kizaru's calmness just comes off well.

His travel using light mirrors is more pleasing imo which he showed previous chapter.

Kizaru's character is the thing which was good. He didn't show anything new DF wise which he already haven't.

Well contrary to most of the reactions to this chapter, I don't think his character changed much at all, he's quite neutral like he's always been. He's boys with Sentomaru but he still wasted him without stressing at all. It is nice to see he holds Sentomaru dear, but ultimately it didn't change his actions or have him falter at all, he shows little hesitation nor does he seem to feel too bad for Sentomaru.

Sentomaru isn’t really fast… Light is just really really slow

remember when monster point chopper in Wano was dodging Queen’s laser beams… Light is just a very slow element in one piece… Sentomaru didn’t even lose to Kizaru because of speed, he just got overpowered via like basic DC…

Tbh, I don't think Kizaru was aiming at Sentomaru, or at the very least, not trying very hard. Sentomaru's charging Kizaru in a straight line and Kizaru's still aiming for thirty feet to Sentomaru's right

Yeah. I don't think queen's lasers hit anyone. It was so annoying to watch.
