Character Discussion How do you guys feel about Issho?

Watching OP, he was the first admiral I didn’t have to stress about

I did stress for the strawhats when he got introduced as an admiral I was like “Oh shit how is Luffy and co going to handle this”

luckily he isn’t extreme, his moral justice and everything is perfect and even talked back to Akainu after shitting on the CDs

speaking of shitting , he took a massive dump on the WGs homeland by freeing slaves.

Lmao surely you like or have thoughts about characters who have nothing to do with Zoro.
Was kinda joking, but not entirely.

I liked Issho well enough in Dressrosa, but he's been of limited relevance past it.

I don't have much investment in his character now, and if he's not fighting a Strawhat, he won't be relevant end game.

He’s one of the best parts of Dressrosa. I know this site tends to obsess over powerscaling issues, but all that is secondary to what makes him great.
His speech at the end of Dressrosa is easily some of Oda’s best writing. His visual quirk is the best of the Admirals (blinding vs eye mask, marine hat, shaded glasses & sunglasses) because it’s the most meaningful.
His epithet is of the most ferocious creature but his demeanour and personality is the gentlest.

For me, he’s the best character introduced post-skip ( which I guess may not be much considering a lot of the rest are disappointments).
