If they were confident in getting him lynched, there would be no need to target him. Scum commonly uses their faction kill on players they feel threatened by or pick up on role hints from the player. It's much harder for players like JG to be pushed compared to players like Mid.

I think it might've been AM, I'm trying to go back and look at VCs to remember which pattern I think I saw within some VCs.

It doesn't impact much aside from a minor tinfoil on PB which would be his teammates are avoiding bussing him or something. My non-tinfoiling soul says that scum had control of the wagon and PB benefits them by being more of an ambiguous slot that's harder to read and less likely to be treated as bait and scum food.
