The admirals are relative. And even Sakazuki isn't above the admirals by a wide margin. Otoh. Kaido is much stronger than King, Queen and Katakuri combined.

Katakuri had no connection towards those chefs. Kizaru literally just beat the shit out of his own subordinate and Sentomaru (in Kizaru’s mind) could die here but Kizaru is fine with that possibility.

And now we are going to see and entire fight...and the best one till now was the beautiful, but non canon and short, fight with Z.

And as good as It was, apart from being not canon, there were still some misconceptions in it, like Z scolding Kizaru for being "overly reliant on his Devil Fruit". On the contrary, we know that Admirals have monstrous haki and physical abilities since MF, and now we are privy to the fact that they even have fields in which they are specialized and alternative styles; they are frightfully complete .
It wasn't Z's fault, it was a product of his time and Oda surely did not have much in mind at the time, but still good to see all that narrative be destroyed lol.
