- Everyone receives a call from Hal Emmerich who informs you that Metal Gear Rex is being prepared to go operational and that you need to reach him as soon as possible.

- He congratulates you for completing 'White Elephant Games' and informs you that he discovered that it wasn't anything to do with Fatman or anyone else on Shadow Moses Island and instead some foreign AI seems to have planted a virus onto the severs.
